"We have just returned from a fantastic customised bird and mammal trip to Gujarat. The Plans all went smoothly, accommodation was great, and although some of our targets proved difficult, our guide Ratan Singh and driver Rakesh made every effort, and looked after us wonderfully well. Difficult to list all highlights, but how about..... the herds of Blackbuck, Wolves, Jungle Cats, Hyena and Stoliczka's Bushchat at Velavadar - Lions, Leopard and the Owls at Gir - Crab Plovers at Narara - Hypocolius, Syke's Nightjar, White-naped Tit and White-bellied Minivet at Bhuj - and the brilliant Wild Asses on the Rann of Kutch.
