Supporting Conservation
Our contribution to carbon-neutral travel and research projects
Everyone knows that flying contributes substantially to the emission of greenhouse gases. Calculations show that a return flight from London to Delhi emits approximately 1.5 to 1.9 tonnes of CO2 per person. As of 2007 Wild About India will make a donation of £15 for every passenger towards a project in India or the UK that helps to offset CO2 flight emissions or supports a valuable conservation research project. Watch this space to find out more about how these donations will be put to good use. As climate change is the biggest factor affecting our planet we encourage individuals to make additional donations – so visit www.carbonbalanced.org to find out how you can help. We would be interested to hear from anyone who chooses to follow our example, so do email to tell us at info@wildaboutindia.com
